He Guides

We should pray daily and seek God’s guidance. The Bible says, “Pray without ceasing. 1 Th. 5:17”. What does that mean? It means that we should walk with God daily. While it is impossible to pray without stopping, our lives should be like a prayer. We should trust in God to lead us and it will be like we are praying continuously as we follow His wise guidance. Matthew 28:20 says, “…I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”. That means that Jesus is always there. Jesus is our dear friend and Savior that died for us. Jesus promises that His spirit will never leave us. Praise God for His grace, love, and mercy. Amen

Jesus is Life

“John:11:25: Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John:11:26: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? John:11:27: She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.” What does this conversation mean? It means Jesus is the Savior of the world, and through Him we are given new life in God. We are promised Heaven when we die which is what Jesus is saying as He is not saying our physical body will live forever on earth. Many believed in Jesus as Savior when they spoke to Him and saw the miracles which He did. Praise God for eternal life through Jesus. Amen

Dwells in Us

Jesus dwells in our hearts through the Holy Ghost. “All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27 (NLT)” We as believers are part of Christ’s heavenly body. The body of believers is the church. The church is not a building, it is believers in Jesus. When we trust in Jesus and repent we are promised eternal life & God comes in our hearts. Praise God for His love & grace. Amen

Children of God

“All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27 (NLT)” What does that verse mean? It means we are united with Christ as believers and Children of God. We should love one another as God’s children and we are the Body of Christ. John 12:47 says, “…whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.” We should do our best to be good people so that we can set an example to Non-Christians that God is good and that Christians can show love for others even those that don’t believe. Praise God for His grace and that we are Children of God. Amen

Perfect

Colossians 1:16 tells us that Jesus created everything it says, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” In reference to Jesus Micah 5:2 says, “… whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.””. So, these verses clearly teach us that Jesus existed before He was born of the virgin Mary. Jesus was and is God and has always existed. Jesus has always been perfect. Jesus is the only one who lived a perfect life. Since He is perfect He was the only one that could die for our sins. Praise God that Jesus saved us, Amen.

Jesus Makes Us Pure

Romans 1:16 tells us that Paul is happy about the Gospel and deeply supports it without shame. Paul preaches the living Jesus who rose from the dead. Paul carefully pointed others to Christ. God greatly blessed Paul’s ministry and helped him to even preach to others that were gentiles (not of Jewish background). It’s great news that God took a former non-believer who arrested and killed Christians and used Him to preach the Gospel. Paul preaches that ‘The righteous will live by faith’. We are only righteous when we accept Jesus and we are seen before God as pure and without sin. However, when it comes to being righteous we are not but rather sinners. The only way we are seen as perfect is through the blood of Jesus who covers our sins. Praise God who covers our sins so that we are pure before Him. Amen

He Guides Us

Revelation 3:15 says, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.” What does this mean? It is talking about how we should not be lukewarm in our faith. We should be strong in faith and growing in faith daily. When we are just partial followers of Jesus and not sincere it can cause us to stall in our faith. God loves us and desires for us to walk with Him daily. When we walk with God the Holy Spirit will guide and direct us. Praise God for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Trust in God

Proverbs 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” What does that mean? It means that God’s ways are beyond our understanding and that we should trust Him rather than ourselves. We need to grow and mature in our faith. Obedience and courage is the key. We should not hold back but go forward with God as He will not let us fail. Matthew 7:11 speaks of how God will provide when He says, “…how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?”. Praise God that He is the great provider. Amen

Great Faith

A man of great power trusted Jesus and said, “…But say the word, and my servant will be healed… Luke 7:7”. Luke 7:9 says, “When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, “I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel.” What does the Roman centurion’s response indicate? It shows that we should be humble as believers and acknowledge that Jesus can do anything. This man’s great faith should be a model for us that we should trust in Jesus. This was a man of great authority who trusted that Jesus could heal his servant by the spoken word. Jesus was amazed and happy that this guy had such faith, more than He had seen in all Israel. Praise God for His power and mercy. Amen

Jesus Remains The Same

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus both existed before the world and is also eternal. “Father, I want these whom you have given me to be with me where I am. Then they can see all the glory you gave me because you loved me even before the world began! John 17:24” Micah 5:2 says, “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” What does all this mean? Well, these are verses about Jesus Christ the Lord, God & Savior of humankind. Jesus existed before He was born of the Virgin Mary. He is and was God and always will be. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” What does that mean? It means that God is good Jesus, is God His values, behavior, and nature never changes. Praise God that Jesus never changes and for His love for us. Amen
