It is important that we believe in Jesus. A prayer by Jesus is that we would know both God & Jesus. A prayer by Jesus in John 17:3 says, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” By accepting Jesus Christ as Savior we can know that we have eternal life. Jesus was sent into the world to save sinners and we have all sinned. In 1 Timothy 1:5 it says, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”. I am thankful that through Jesus Christ we can know God and have a relationship with Him. Amen

Crush Satan
In the Book of Genesis we learn of the good news of the Gospel. Genesis 3:15 teaches us that after the fall of man someday someone would come and crush the devil. That very person who came to overcome Satan was Jesus Christ. The consequences of man’s rebellion against God by eating of the fruit in the Garden of Eden was paid for by Jesus Christ. When Jesus came and died in our place He united us to the Father so that whoever believes in Him will be saved. Praise God for His glorious gift of salvation. Amen
Well-Grounded in Faith
God in Revelation warns against a luke-warm church. We need to be well grounded in our faith and not double minded. The Bible mentions that if we are double minded we are not stable in our faith. “So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.” Romans 7:25 NASB” We should stop taking part in ungodliness and submit to Him and Satan will run away from us. God is the only way we can overcome sin, although we can never be perfect we are seen as perfect before God because of the blood of Christ. Praise God for His amazing grace. Amen.
Know God
We learn in Hebrews 10:22-23 that God desires for us to come to Him with a full heart of love and faith. God will clean us from an evil conscience and forgive us of our sins. We should hold strong to our belief in God and hope in Him without waving. God who promised to save us can and will. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The true eternal life is in God’s Son Jesus Christ who is the only way to Heaven. We can’t get to Heaven by good works or living good lives. If we want to go to Heaven we can through the atonement of Christ and accepting Him by faith. Jesus praying to the father says in John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”. I praise God for eternal life and the Bible which helps me grow closer to Him. Amen
Heaven Amazing
The Lord Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we can have an amazing after-life with God. The things that God has prepared and the mansion in Heaven is something so great that we can’t even comprehend it. God with His great love for us did what needed to be done for our atonement and now all we have to do is repent and believe the Gospel. 2 Corinthians 2:9 says, But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” I am thankful for God’s abundant grace and mercy.
Desires of Heart
The Bible teaches us that the Lord will give believers the desires of their heart but what does this mean? What it means is we should pray for the desires of our heart to be the same as God’s. God is not saying He will give us all the money and material things we want. He is saying that as believers He will help provide what we need when we trust in Him; His desires will be ours. “Psalm 37: 4: Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”. Jesus says in Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Praise God that He loves us and is willing to guide, direct, provide for and help us. Amen
Living Water
John 4:11 Jesus speaking to a woman tells her that He provides living water. I believe Jesus is speaking here of eternal life. Jesus loved the woman and even told her many things about her that he couldn’t have known such as multiple husbands. Jesus was reaching out to her and in the same way Jesus reaches out to us today to provide salvation. John 4:11 says, “The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?” Jesus is the living water, He is the only way to salvation. Christ loves us all dearly and wants everyone to be saved. I am thankful for the living water (eternal life) Jesus provides and His deep love for humankind. Amen
Disciples
Jesus came to earth both to save us from our sins and to make disciples of all nations. God wants everyone to be saved and come to the true faith of Christianity. “And Jesus said to them, “Follow me and I will make you fish for people.” And immediately they left their nets and followed him.’ Mark 1:17-18 (NRSV)” I think by fishers of people God means genuine followers should drop everything and trust in Him. When we trust in Jesus we begin to have the Holy Spirit in our hearts and as our guide. God wants everyone to go to Heaven and none to go to hell. God’s promise is that when we accept Jesus we are saved from death in hell and invited into the Kingdom of Heaven. I thank God for the gift of eternal life. Amen
Trinity
We learn in 1 John 5:7 that the trinity is what God is. God is three in one, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I believe when we see God it will be just 1 being in Heaven but he expresses Himself as a Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can dwell in us and does when we truly accept Jesus. 1 John 5:7 says, “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.” I am thankful to God for the comfort and gift of the Holy Ghost. Amen
His Return
Revelation 3:11 tells us that Christ will come back quickly. We see promises of Jesus Christ’s return throughout the Bible. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us that God is not slow in keeping promises of anything including His return. God is giving as many people as He can a chance to repent and be saved before the final day of judgement comes. 2 Peter 3:9 says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”. I am thankful for the gift of salvation and that God is giving us all a chance to accept Him. Amen
