Worship God

When we worship God we often sing. However, we should also worship God with our choices, our decisions, and our relationships. Matthew 4:10 says, “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.” When Jesus was in the wilderness and tempted by the devil His choice to not fall into sin by quoting scripture shows that our actions are also a form of worship. We should walk with God daily, and let His Spirit guide us. God knows what’s best for us and loves us very much. When we worship and love God we do it because He first loved us. Jesus loved us so much He was willing to die on the cross for our sins so that He could bridge the gap between man and God. Praise God for His love and grace. Amen.

Walk Daily With Him

Deuteronomy 5:33 says, “Walk in obedience to all that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.” There are many other verses about walking with God. It is important to trust in the Lord daily, ” For we walk by faith, not by sight. – 2 Corinthians 5:7″ “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7” We can each have a personal relationship with God. Connecting us to God is exactly the mission Jesus Christ came to earth for. Jesus atoned for us on the cross so that we might have a more full life. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” Praise God for the gift to walk with Him as disciples. Amen

He Loves Us

God loves us and from His word we know that is why we love Jesus. 1 John 4:19, “We love him, because he first loved us.” We learn in the Bible that everything that is good is from God. James 1:17 says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” God will not turn away from us when we are stuck in sin we should run to Him not away from Him. Jesus desires to lift us up and help carry our burdens. Jesus has already forgiven Christians through His blood on the cross. Christ has shown great love and compassion towards us. The Lord is righteous and will not disown us. Praise God for His grace, love and mercy. Amen

He’s The Way

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is the only way to Heaven. When Jesus was on earth He prayed for us to know Him better. John 17:3 says, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” When we know Jesus we know the Father. John 14:7 says, “If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”. I am thankful that through Jesus Christ we can know God and have a relationship with Him. Amen

Walk With God

We love God because He loved us first. We should walk with God daily. God desires to guide us. There is only one God and He desires to know us all personally. 1 Timothy 2:5 NLT “There is one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus.” Jesus always intercedes on our behalf and has given us the gift of salvation through faith in Him. If we don’t believe in Jesus we risk going to hell. Jesus came to set us free from the traps of the devil. Jesus is the way, “The truth and the life” He is the key to Heaven. When we walk and abide with God He will help us become better people. We should walk straight paths with God. Praise God for His guidance, grace, and mercy. Amen

Gift of Grace

The Bible teaches (Ephesians 2:8–9) that we are saved by grace through faith. Grace is, “…not from yourselves, it is the gift of God”. John 1:16–17 says, “For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Romans 6:4 teaches that  we are ” not  under law but under grace.” God’s grace is something we didn’t earn and don’t deserve. The only reason we do receive God’s grace and are worthy of it is because of Jesus Christ. We are not worthy on our own of God’s grace but Christ is and with Him in our hearts we are made worthy. Praise God for His love, grace and mercy. Amen

All For The Good

““For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord…to give you a future with hope.” Jeremiah 29:11” God has plans for our future and wants us to do well. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” It is great news that there is a purpose for us in this life. God desires for everyone to be saved and also for all Christians He works things out for the good. Although, we may face many challenges in our life Jesus’ “burden is light” and He will help us through them. Life is not easy but giving our needs up to God in prayer should be. Praise God, who works out all things for the good. Amen

Repentance

When we sin we should repent but we do have God’s promise that as Christians he won’t hold our sins against us. He has already said: “I will forgive their iniquities and remember their sins no more,” (Hebrew 8:12 NIV). We are blessed to have a God whose blood on the cross is enough to cover our past and future sins. Without faith we can’t please God and the Bible clearly tells us that. The Good News of the Gospel is that Jesus saves us from punishment in hell. I am thankful for God’s grace and mercy. Amen

God’s Family

Jesus came to earth so that, “…we might receive adoption to sonship.” He came so that we might be adopted into the family of God. However, what does that mean? According to Romans 8:15 we receive the Spirit of God in our hearts when we repent and believe the Gospel. Faith in Christ causes God to forgive our sins, and makes us Children of God. Other verses say we are heirs according to promise meaning that God adopts us into His family even though we are unworthy we are worthy because of what He did on the cross. God’s grace makes us Children of God and heirs. The end result is that as Christians we are forever part of God’s family and will not be separated from Him. John 10:29 tells us we are forever with God when we believe, “My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”. Praise God for His grace, mercy and love

Right Hand

The Bible teaches us Jesus is on the right hand of God. Mark 16:19 says, “So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.” What does this mean? Well, it tells us that the identity of Jesus is God and He has the highest place in Heaven. Right hand symbolizes the strength of Christ. When it says Jesus is seated at the right hand of God it means that He shares God’s strength, authority, and blessing. Ephesians 4:5 teaches there is, “One Lord, one faith, one baptism,”. So there is one being in Heaven that is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus is equal to God because He is God. Praise God that Jesus loves us so much and died in our place. Amen
