New Earth

We learn in the Bible that God through Christ Jesus created the heavens and the earth. “Revelation 4:11: Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. ” It is great to know that. Even greater is that someday Jesus will come back and make a New Earth free from sin and where everyone will live in peace. I’m thankful for God’s love and grace. Amen

Walk in Hope

Jesus Christ teaches us not to worry about tomorrow. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matthew 6:34 However, does this mean not to prepare for tomorrow? I think we should be prepared to an extent for tomorrow but we should not be worried about tomorrow or the challenges that we may face. God is sovereign and able to help us each day as He has control over tomorrow and not us. When Jesus was on earth He surely knew that He would face hardship the next day yet we never see Him questioning tomorrow or walking in fear. He knew He would at some point be handed over and falsely condemned to death yet he never walked in fear. I am thankful for our brave and loving God Christ Jesus.

Plant the Seed

When trying to reach others that don’t believe in Jesus we should do it with compassion. 1 Corinthians 1:18 says, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”. It is God that opens the hearts of people to receive His Gospel. When we don’t believe the Gospel it seems foolish as Psalms 14:1 puts it, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God…”. However, even though it can be hard for people to receive the plan of salvation it is still worth the effort to plant the seed. If we plant the seed of the Gospel someday the person might repent and believe. I pray that everyone might be saved. Amen

Preach Jesus

We should teach others about Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:20 teaches that we are, “ambassadors for Christ,”. What does that mean? It means that we should help others so that they can be united to Christ and someday enter His kingdom. 2 Corinthians 5:20, “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.”. Jesus is the only way to be reconciled to God, it is through His blood shed on the cross that we are saved. God’s salvation is an offer to all that believe and God’s grace is able to wipe away many severe sins and save us. I am thankful for God’s abundant grace and mercy. Amen

Lukewarm

God warns the church in Revelation to not be lukewarm. But, what does that mean? It means when we believe but are really inactive in our faith and obedience to him. Revelation 3:16 says, “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”. I praise Jesus that He loves us so much. Even when we face challenges in our faith or lukewarm God is there to help get us back on the right track. Praise Jesus for His deep love for us. Amen

Trust Always

We should always trust in the Lord, He is perfect and will never let us down. Proverb 3:5 says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Jesus promised in Matthew 2:28 that He will always be with us even when the end of the world comes. God is faithful even when we are not. When we trust in the Lord He promises to guide and strengthen us. The same God that died for us (and rose from the dead) 2,000 years ago has His arms wide open to invite us into His kingdom and an abundant life. Praise God that we can trust Him and that He loves us. Amen

He Shows Mercy

God has mercy upon us all those that do their best to live a Christian life. It is not our works that saves us. Salvation is a supernatural act of the Holy Spirit it is given to us on the behalf of Christ. “De:5:10: And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.” It’s great news to know that God is love, and shows such great mercy towards us. Luke 1:50 tells us that, “And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.” Praise Jesus for the love He has for us and for His abundant grace. Amen

Always Forgives

God promises in the Bible that He is able to forgive all our sins and no longer remember them. But what does that mean? It means that if we accept Jesus Christ as Savior He will wash away our sins and free us from eternal damnation. “I will forgive their iniquity, I will remember their sin no more.” Jer 31:34b “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9”. It is great news to know that God is able to forgive every mistake we have ever made. Nothing is too big for God to be able to forgive. I thank God for His abundant grace and mercy through Christ Jesus. Amen

Holy Spirit

Jesus taught us that the Holy Spirit would dwell in us. Christ promised that the Holy Spirit would be left on earth after He leaves earth. John 14: 26 says, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.” It’s good news that God did not leave us without comfort! The Holy Spirit enables us to have a great walk with God and be filled with His spirit. The Bible teaches that, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24”. I thank God that He provided salvation through Jesus Christ and comfort through the Holy Ghost. Amen

Find Rest

In Jesus we can find rest. In the midst of our busy lives Jesus promises in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:30, “For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” We also learn in the Holy Bible that “One hand full of rest is better than two fists full of labor and striving after wind.” Ecclesiastes 4:6 NASB. I am thankful for God’s grace and ability to empathize with my struggles. When Jesus was on earth He went through many trials and passed all of them without sinning. I thank God for Jesus the Lamb of God and only sinless person that has lived and ever will. Amen
