We learn in Proverbs 3 that we should trust fully in the Lord. We should try to understand in the way God does. However, God’s ways are not our ways but He is calling us to not lean on our own understanding. We should pray to God for wisdom to understand things as best as possible. Life is full of challenges but there’s nothing Christ can’t help us with. I thank God that He is with us and loves us. Amen

Good News
The Gospel is the Good News that God gives salvation to all those that trust in Jesus. “…Through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you. Acts 13:38” There is nothing that will seperate believers from God’s love. God is able to forgive all our sins. When we seek God we will find Him and He will guide us. I am thankful that the Gospel is the Good News that Christ died and rose from the dead and paid the price for all my sins. Amen
He Knocks
Revelation 3:20 teaches us that God is knocking on the door of our hearts. When we open our hearts and minds to the Lord His spirit dwells in us. The Lord is great and we learn in Psalms “O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.” (Psalm 139:1 KJV). God knew us even before we were born. When we open our lives to Jesus He helps us with all the challenges we face. God will never leave our hearts or forsake us. I thank God for His grace and mercy. Amen
Jesus is Humble
Jesus was humble according to Philippians 2:6 even though He was in the form of God. Christ was willing to give up some of His power as God in order to save mankind. When Jesus was on the cross He could have called upon tons of angels to save Him. However, the mission of God and purpose of Jesus coming to earth was that through His death (and resurrection), we could go to Heaven. I’m thankful for the free gift of salvation through trusting in Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. Amen
Brother
We should not be angry with our brother. 1 John 4:20 teaches us that if we don’t have love for our brother how can we love God? Perhaps, in this case brother might mean our neighbor rather than just blood brother. However, there are times where we may forgive but not forget. I don’t believe God wants us to suffer abuse over and over again. Such as if they borrow money but don’t return, we might not give it to them again and again. It is important that we love both God & our brother. As, Christian’s we should do our best to love each other. May, we all have love for Him & our brother. Amen
Tithing
The Bible talks about tithing which is 10% of our income. 2 Corinthians 9:7 teaches us that if we do give we should give out of the joy of our hearts. God loves it when we give cheerfully. God does not need our money but it is good to give to help support the church. In the book of Acts we see that many gave and helped supply the needs of the church. May we all trust Him in all things with our money, with our time, and love God first. Amen
Faith in God
We should place our faith firmly in God. Jesus will never let us down as he puts it in the Gospel of Matthew 28:20, “…I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”. It’s great news to know that God will never leave us. Life is a journey and all we need is to let the Lord be our guide. God loves us and is waiting with arms wide-open to invite as many people as possible into the Kingdom of God. Christ does not want a single person to go to hell, he wants all to repent and believe. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” It is great news that God became a man and overcame sin so that we could someday live with Him. Amen
He Saves by Faith
We learn in James that faith without good works is dead. However, what does that mean? Do our works justify us? The answer is no because we are justified by faith and not by works. Romans 3:20 says, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”. If the law teaches us what sin is yet we are all fallen from God’s grace then we should know that the death of Christ saves us from hell through faith in Him. Grace is the unmerited favor of God. Romans 3:24 says, “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”. Praise Jesus that our works which are as filthy rags don’t justify us only faith in Jesus Christ saves us. Amen
Jesus is the Way
“1 John 5:20: And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Christ is the only true God and way to eternal life. Jesus spoke of this in John 14:6, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” “…there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12”. We read in the early church as recorded in Acts that there is no other name to be saved under but Jesus. We can’t live a perfect life as a result God justifies us by faith in Jesus Christ and not through our own actions or works. God loves us and desires to have a complete relationship. The Bible teaches us that God first loved us and died for us. There is nothing greater that can be done than to die for someone. God’s death and resurrection is proof of the great love He has for us and His power over death. May we all truly know and follow Jesus. Amen
Diligently Study
We should diligently study the Bible we learn in Acts 17:11 that the noble people in that city searched the scriptures to make sure what they were being taught is true. That is a good practice to test what you hear by examining God’s Word. “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:17).” Jesus used scriptures when tempted by the devil when He was in the desert, he said in Luke 4:8, “And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”. It is great news that we can overcome evil by keeping the word of God in our hearts and minds. Amen
