Faith Alone

“I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20 CSB)”. This verse tells us that when we accept Jesus into our life we are justified through Christ and dead to the world. We become alive to God through Jesus. In this verse Paul is telling us that we come so close to Christ it’s like we die with Him. The Apostle Paul emphasizes that we are saved by faith alone and should not add deeds or rituals to the Gospel to be saved. Christ’s atonement on the cross was enough to satisfy the wrath of God that whoever believes in Jesus as their Lord is saved. Christ’s death paid 100% for our own personal sins. That sinful us dies in Christ and we are seen as spotless before God. All that is done through Christ who both died and rose from the dead, He has raised us to new life in Him. We should let our faith in Christ guide us not our sinful mind or flesh. Jesus’ motive for dying on the cross is love and that is why He died for us. Christ was deeply motivated by His concern and love for us. Amen

Jesus With Us

God loves us so much. After Jesus rose from the dead He instructed His people to obey Him and that He would always be with them. That promise is still true for us today. God is with us through Jesus. Matthew 28:20 says, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”. When we trust in God all things are possible and He will give us the strength to do our best to live like Jesus. We are not saved by how we live but by how Jesus lived. Jesus who was the perfect God and perfect man died on our behalf. Out of gratitude for Christ’s sacrifice for us we should do our best to obey Him and know that He is always there for us. Amen

Sin

Once Adam & Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden people fell from the grace of God. Romans 5:12 says, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” Since then the earth has been fallen and without peace. No matter what we as Christians do the earth will never be perfect until Christ comes back and establishes His early Kingdom. Someday there will be peace on earth through the Power of the Lord, Jesus, Christians will live with the Lord in a New Earth called, “New Jerusalem.” Christians will live in New Jerusalem for one thousand years with the Lord, Jesus who will be King over all the earth. After that Christians will go up into Heaven to live with Jesus, and with His father forevermore. This is the hope of many faithful believers in Christ Jesus. I urge you all to stand strong in your faith that you will always remain airs of God according to the faith in the Lord Jesus. Amen

Weak

When we are weak Christ is strong. Things in life can take strength to handle. God said, ” My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…. 2 Corinthians 12:9″. The power of Christ is with Christians throughout our struggles. God is glorified in our weaknesses when we let Him take control and guide us. When we have faith the grace of God rests deeply upon us and gives us power to overcome challenges. Amen

Eternal God

Jesus created the heavens & the earth in the beginning.

“John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2: The same was in the beginning with God. John 1:3: All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”
Jesus is God and existed with God He is known as the Word. The heavens and the earth were created by the spoken word of God. Jesus is the beginning and the end, He always existed “… whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Micah 5:2” Jesus is the everlasting God. It is great to know that God came to earth in the form of a man known as Jesus Christ, and provided salvation as a free gift to all those that receive Him. God is our Heavenly Father and we are His creation. “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— John 1:12”. Amen

Slack

“2 Peter: 3:9: The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Jesus promised He will come back and establish His Kingdom. God is not being slow about this but giving everyone a chance to accept Jesus as Savior. God does not want a single one of His children to go to hell. As time progresses the Gospel is being preached throughout the earth and Jesus could come back at any time. It’s good news to know that Jesus is coming back to establish everlasting peace with those that love Him.

Keep Us From Falling

“Jude:1:24: Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,” Jesus is the only one that can make us right with God. Through Christ’s atonement on the cross we are seen as right before God. When we repent and believe we are saved by God’s grace without works. God loves us and so much that Jesus came and sacrificed Himself on our behalf. The Good News is Christ died for us, rose from the dead (showing He was God), and is in Heaven interceding on our behalf so that we can be forgiven. Amen

Perfect

“2 Peter 3:14: Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” The Bible teaches us that no one is perfect (Romans 3:10, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”). The only way we are made right before God is through Jesus Christ the Lord, God and Savior of this world. Jesus came to earth, died on our behalf, rose from the dead so that we might have life. John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” The Gospel is the Good News that God provided a way for us to return and live with Him and that is through Jesus Christ. Amen

Salvation

Titus 2:11-14 NKJV “For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.” What we can learn from this is Jesus came to earth. Jesus taught us to do our best to follow his example, to try and live moral lives. However, the Good News is that when Christ came He lived a perfect moral life so that when we mess-up we are forgiven through faith and His death on the cross for our sins. Amen

Law

Galatians 2:21, “I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.” We should be thankful that God’s grace does not require us to be perfect. If we could be perfect then Christ would not have needed to come. Jesus came to earth because people are not perfect but a perfect God did not want to send everyone to hell. Christ came to earth, died, was buried and rose again from the dead Sunday morning.
