Good News

God is a great God. Jesus taught that when He died and rose He would prepare a place for us in Heaven. 1 Corinthians 2:9 says, “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”. The Good News is all we have to do is believe and accept Jesus as Savior and we will go to Heaven when we die. God’s grace is good enough to cover all our sins. Once we accept Jesus we should do our best to not sin as much but when we do God’s grace still kicks-in. Praise God for His abundant grace and mercy. Amen

Salvation & God’s Love

There is nothing greater than the love God has for us and His amazing gift of salvation through faith alone. We should repent and accept Jesus as He is the only way to Heaven. “Philippians 3:8: Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ, Philippians 3:9: And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:” What does all this mean? It means that when God looks at Christians’ He does not see them as wicked and sinful but He sees them right before God through Jesus Christ and accepting His atonement on the cross. Romans 3:20 says, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”. It’s great news to know that unlike many religions Christianity does not teach that we need to work our way to Heaven. When we do good works we should do them out of love for others and for God. Praise God for His grace and mercy. Amen.

Clean Heart

We should be mindful of the love of God and desire for Him to create in us a clean heart. Faith is shown where we are. When we allow God to lead us He will help us grow our spirits in Him. It should be our desire to have a clean heart before God. “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence.” Psalm 51:10-11 ESV”. It’s great news to know how loving God is and His desire for us to become more like Him. Praise God, for His love and ability to make us reborn in Him. Amen.

Bible is True

The Bible is true. It teaches that to those that don’t believe in the Holy Bible it may seem foolish. However, to those that are saved God’s Word is the power of God which saves us. It is not foolish to believe the Bible and its teaching that Jesus is God provides the only way to Heaven. “Always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect 1 Peter 3:15b ESV”. What does that mean? It means that since our faith is rational we should be able to explain it to others but do so with love for others. Praise God that His Word is true and that He loves us. Amen

Empty Tomb

The tomb of Jesus was empty Sunday morning when the women went to the tomb. “…Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him. Mark 16:6”. It is through Jesus’ death and blood on the cross we are saved. Jesus proved He is and was God by rising from the dead. Christ has risen indeed and loves us so much. Jesus is alive in Heaven today. It’s amazing that God loved us enough to humble Himself and come down as a man and die for our sins. There is no greater love that God could have given then to sacrifice Himself on the cross for our sins. Jesus came, was beaten, had a crown of thorns put on His head, and was nailed to the cross then He rose from the dead. May we all know, love and accept Jesus. Amen.

Good Shepherd

The Bible teaches that Jesus is the Good Shepherd who desires to lavish us with His goodness. Jesus came to die for our sins, In John 10:11 Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”. Jesus knows us all and desires to have a relationship with us, John 10:14 says, “I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.”. Jesus’ knows all Christians and desires for everyone to be saved, He knows our past and the future. The Kingdom of God is big enough for everyone and Jesus teaches that He died and rose from the dead to help the Father prepare a place for us in Heaven. Praise God for Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd and Savior of our souls. Amen

Salvation is by Grace

The Bible teaches in Hebrews 11:6 that, “…without faith it is impossible to please him:..” Other verses in God’s Word teach us that “Salvation is by grace and grace alone.” Romans 3:20 says, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.”. What does all this mean? It means that God’s grace is a free gift that does not require works on our part to be justified; it is simply through faith. God does want us to live good lives and obey Him; He just forgives us without them. It’s great news to know that the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross for our sins is enough to save us without having to do good deeds to save us or earn salvation. Amen

Jesus’ Sheep

Jesus refers to His followers using sheep as an analogy. Jesus came to die so that anyone that accepts Him will be saved. Jesus said, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. – John 10:11” When Jesus died He paid for all the sins we have done and His blood covers our future sins as well. Repentance is important. Acts 17:30 says, “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:” When we repent we become born again and adopted into the family of God. Jesus prayed for us to be saved. John 17:3 says, “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”. The only way to eternal life is through Jesus and may we all know and accept Him. Amen

100% Love

Jesus was full of 100% love for us when He came and died on the cross for our sins. The Holy Bible teaches that, “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. John 15:13”. This is great news that God loves us enough to take our sins upon Him by cleansing us through His blood on the cross. He gave His life so that we could live and go to Heaven when we die. Amen.

Repentance

When we sin we should repent but we do have God’s promise that as Christians he won’t hold our sins against us. He has already said: “I will forgive their iniquities and remember their sins no more,” (Hebrew 8:12 NIV). We are blessed to have a God whose blood on the cross is enough to cover our past and future sins. Without faith we can’t please God and the Bible clearly tells us that. The Good News of the Gospel is that Jesus saves us from punishment in hell. I am thankful for God’s grace and mercy. Amen
