“…there is none good but one, that is, God…” Matthew 19:17

In this passage Jesus is not saying He is not good. Jesus is without sin and died for our sins as the perfect sacrifice for us to go to Heaven. He then rose from the dead. Jesus, “Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; Philippians 2:6” This means Jesus was humble even unto death. “And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross! Philippians 2:8” I am thankful that Jesus provides salvation. Amen.
