God gives gifts to His people such as the Gift of the Holy Ghost to those who believe (as seen in Acts 2:38). Through faith we are also given Eternal Life. “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. John 17:3).” “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Romans 12:6.” So some are able to give prophecy, but there are other gifts such as teaching, preaching, and whatever other gifts God has given us such as the ability to do a certain career or a desire to preach to the lost may also be our gift.
