What is faith? Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”. What does that mean? It means that faith in God while there is much evidence of Biblical events there is still an element of faith that it takes to believe in God. When God speaks to our hearts and we feel His spirit that is the evidence that God is real. It is wise to believe in God. Psalms 53:1 says, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.  Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.”. To those that don’t believe the Gospel is nearly impossible to understand until they become a believer in Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:8 says, “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”.
