1 Corinthians 1:8 says, “Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” What does this mean? Once we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior God confirms us as blameless only through the blood of Jesus. Christ makes us pure and blameless before God. When God looks upon those in Christ He does not see sin but sees the perfection of Christ. However, that does not mean we are perfect, it just means that the perfect Savior Jesus Christ makes us justified before God. We should keep in mind this justification does not come through works, rather through the love and mercy of God. Amen
